This is Christmas week, like many I’m celebrating Christmas with my family. I want to thank you all for your comments and loyal support for the year. Here’s something to laugh about and with; after the year some of us have had its good to be reminded that it doesn’t take much to smile.
Most of us on Christmas day will have a roof over our heads and food in our bellies and someone who loves us nearby or at the very least will try all they can to be with us. That’s pretty special – Enjoy.

For any building, the foundations can take the longest to build, but if faulty, they will cause the greatest problems. So it is with life. How do we work out what foundations we have to play with and build strong foundations that will last a lifetime?

When life gets a little tough, I take time out in my garden. I find it calms the spirit and invigorates the soul. It is a constant reminder of the cycles of life and difficult times are a mere speck of dust in universal time. Life given the chance will always win out, as will joy and happiness. Enjoy…
Two days before one New Years Eve I found myself with a close friend, Hilton, in one of our favourite places
A visit to the dentist is never the same after seeing the 1976 movie classic Marathon Man. The famous torture scene, in the dentist chair, with Laurence Olivier playing the Nazi war criminal Szell, leaves your next visit to the dentist even less appealing. If you are afraid of dentists, I suggest you don’t watch it. You may never go again. Yet for me a very powerful image was able to reduce my pain and bring me comfort.
